Neighbors Assist in Farming for Slaven After Death of Wife.

Whittemore-- After the death of Mrs. Tim Slaven, who died at her home here July 14, and was buried July 17, 37 friends and neighbors gathered at the Slaven farm last week and helped harvest the small grain crop.

Among the persons participating in the harvest were Ernest Bleur and three boys, William Fogarty and two boys, Jess Crook, Tom McCormick, Dan Foley, E. Hennrickson, Ed Miller and man, Dale Miller, Mike Bonnstetter, John Hartman, Walter Schuller, Fred Wirtz, Fred Douglas, Art Helmke, Alvin Wollner, John Kawjski, Art Dietrick, Chris Christensen and two boys, Roy Hamilton, Glenn Debolt, Jack Wichman, Junior Loder, Elmer Erickson, Will Lilligard, Clif Douglas and Jake Hartman.

Those who furnished their binders were John Conly, Theo Bierstedt, William Fogarty and Frank Foley.
