The family of Mr. Felix Slaven is just now experiencing one of those terrible afflictions which have been visited upon so many families in Omaha during the past year. It is just a few days since they buried a little boy upon whom they lavished all the affection the loving heart of parents can bestow and now the household is again invaded by the grim destroyer and another of the family taken from human sight forever.
Another child, the eldest, is sick with the fatal disease, but his recovery is almost assured. The sympathy of many friends are with the family and we trust that the hand of Providence will spare them from any further sorrow.
