Inquests were held at the Coroner's Office yesterday in three cases of violent deaths. The first was that of Michael Slavin, run over on Tuesday morning by a train of the Pennsylvania Railroad under the Callowhill street bridge. The deceased was a conductor, and was struck by a freight car which was being shifted. He was taken to the University Hospital, where he died without returning to conciousness. Verdict death from injuries accidentally received.
