Notice of trial has been served on James Slevin, by the next of kin to Dunn, who was murdered in the spring of last year along with Cudden, at Rathkenny.

...On Friday the case of Slevin, charged with conspiring to murder Dunn and Cudden, at Rathkenny, was called on. Mr. Serjeant Woulfe, for the prisoner, put in voluminous pleas, which were to be replied or demurred to yesterday. If the pleas be overruled, the trial will commence tomorrow.
