A.R. KNIGHT DIES HERE LAST NIGHT,
HEART ATTACK

Arthur R. Knight, local Agent for the Southern Express Company, passed away at his home here at 11 o’clock last night following four days illness with heart attack. Funeral is to be announced later, awaiting word from relatives residing at distant points. C. R. Summers has charge of arrangements. Interment will be in Rosemere cemetery.

Mr. Knight, who was in his fiftyseventh year, had been in declining health some months, but his death came rather unexpectedly.

Deceased had resided in Opelika seven years, moving here from Chattanooga, Tennessee. In 1913, he was married to Mrs. Jessie S. Knight, at Kansas City, Mo., who survives him. Also, one step-son survives, Harry Newkirk; also a brother, C. E. Knight, of Mechanicsville, Ill.; one sister, Mrs. H. T. Laidlow, of Yates County, Kansas.

Later-Announcement was made just before press time this afternoon that the funeral of Mr. Knight will be held from the residence at 10:30 a. m. Saturday.
