Captain Cyrus Porter Slavin died at his home at North Warren at 8:30 p.m. Saturday of bronchial trouble, aged 58 years. The deceased is survived by his wife, two sons and one daughter. The funeral service will be held at the Presbyterian church, North Warren at 4 o'clock this afternoon. The interment will take place near Geneva, Crawford County.

Captain C.P. Slaven died Sunday night of bronchial trouble, brought on by grip, at North Warren. He leaves a widow, two sons and a daughter, who reside in Geneva, this county, where the interment will take place today. He was a member of Pfeiffer Post, G.A.R., of Meadville, and a night watchman at the hospital for the insane.
