Sub-Postmasters were grieved to hear of the death of Mr. John Slevin, J.P., of Creetown, after a short illness following a heart attack. Mr. Slevin had been editor of their federation journal, "The Sub=Postmaster," for nearly 20 years, and for more than 30 years had been a leading member of the national executive. The funeral took place at Creetown, and was attended by the national secrtetaries of the federation.
