WOMAN DIES AT DAUGHTER'S HOME
MRS. MARGARET JANE SLAVENS, 70, HAD BEEN ILL FOR ONE WEEK

Mrs. Margaret Jane Slavens, 70, died at 6:10 a.m. Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Julia Bowerman, 108 Morgan street. She had been ill for one week with a complication of diseases.

She was born on March 4, 1866, at Judson, Ind., the daughter of Eli and Julia Clark, and was married to William Edgar Slavens on April 13, 1893. Mrs. Slavens was a member of the Christian church.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Bowerman, a brother, Albert Clark of Hammond, lnd., and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held from the home of the daughter at 108 Morgan street at 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon. Burial will be made at Oak Hill cemetery.
