Mrs. Slavens, 76, Dies Early Today at Her Home Here.

Mrs. Nancy Susan Slavens, 76, died at 4 o'clock this morning at her residence, 826 McKinsey street. She had been in failing health for several months.

She is survived by three sons, Virgil P. Slavens, Allie Slavens, and Ira Slavens, all of Moberly; two daughters, Mrs. Hattie Kroner, near Clark, and Mrs. Minnie Harlan of the home; one sister, Mrs. Dintha Brown, Portland. Ore.; and eight grandchildren.

She was born in Audrain county and came to Moberly 26 years today. She was a member of the Methodist church.

The body has been taken to the home of Ira Slavens, 609 McKinley avenue, where funeral services will be held at 2.30 Wednesday afternoon by Dr. R. H. Daugher ty, pastor of the Fourth Street Methodist church. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery.
