Patrick Slavin

Mr. Patrick Slavin died yesterday morning at his boarding house, No. 419 East Leigh street, after an illness of several days. Mr. Slavin was a native of Tyrone county, Ireland, and by trade was a boilermaker, employed at Richmond Locomotive Works. He had been in this country about 18 years and the greater part of that time resided in this city.

He was never married, and his only surviving relative here is a brother, Michael Slavin. The funeral will take place at St. Peter's Cathedral at 4 o'clock this afternoon. Interment will be made in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
