WELL KNOWN CLINTON TWP. WOMAN DIES

MRS. SARAH A. BETTIS PASSES AWAY MONDAY AFTERNOON FOLLOWING SHORT ILLNESS
FUNERAL TO BE WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON

The death of Mrs. Sarah A. Bettis occurred at her home in Clinton township Monday afternoon at 2:10 o'clock. Mrs. Bettis had been ill for only a short time, her death being caused from complications of stomach and heart trouble. She was 78 years of age and was a lifelong resident of Clinton township. Her husband, the late Wesley Bettis, preceded her in death several years ago.

She is the mother of seven children, all living: Mrs. George Price, of Clinton Falls; W. H. Bettis, of this city; Charles E., James Henry Clay, and Albert H., of Clinton township; Mrs. Roe Hall, of Brazil; fifteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Nancy Gray, of and other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be. held Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock at the M.P. church at Clinton Falls. Rev. Will McKim will have charge of the interment will be in the Dunkard cemetery.
