My ancestors on my mother's side, John Slevan married to Mary White, arrived in Canada probably around the 1820s and settled in St Augustin, Co. Deux Montagnes, Quebec, Canada, region. Does anybody have information as to their origins in Ireland and arrival in Canada. I am also looking for the Slevan,Slavin etc. family crest.
