your stewart may be my john f slavens parents i have thought for years that the slavens in the ozark hills must have been boot leggers and thout the censes take was revenurers not sure i spelled that right. and that they all hid in the hill when they came around. i'joking of course. course and mean no disrespect . i have had such a hard time finding the roots to thesess lavens in my family tree maybe now ive hit the right ones your Elizabeth Stuart is i am sure my Stuarts to my Mitchell Family that married nancy slavens the daughter of john f slavens/ one thing I do know from family stories my Stewart Slavens first settled in springfield mo. and built a church there suppose to be the first church built there my John married Manerva Clark.the daughter of John clark. right now i am at the hospital and will get back to you as soon as i get home where i can share my information from my works so glad i found you guys
