I had no idea that there was such a history to this name. i have never been told about my family's history or where we originate from...and my curiosity led me here. My father was Daniel James Slaven born in NZ who went on to marry Leanne Peebles. His father was James (Jim) Slaven who married Raywen (i'm not sure of her maiden name).I know that Jim was born in NZ but im unsure of anything prior to that. So if anyone could help me out it would be appreciated.
