Hello. Please feel free to refer to my posting "Slevin, Slevin & Slavin" dated June 11, 2002.

I am in possession of a hand drawn family tree (circa 1940) for the descendants of Bernard and Susan Slevin. Some of the document is legible, some of it not.

Anyway, Bernard (1) and Susan had, among many, a son named Arthur (1). He wedded Katherine and migrated to the U.S. via, I believe, Canada and settled in Rochester, NY. They produced Edward, Susanne, John, Bernard (2), Patrick, Ellen, Mary, and Margaret. Bernard (2) married a woman whose first name began with an "M". They had a son, Arthur (2, who united with a woman whose first name ended in "a." It looks like they had at least a son whose name was "Bernard" (3). There is no mention of a daughter by your mother's name. However, I can speak from the experience of my own immediate family that by this fourth or fifth generation the author understandably ran out of data or had incomplete information. This tree gives no hint of residences or birhtplaces.

I just thought that, given the striking similarity of the information you posted and what I had, you might like to hear from me.

Feel free to contact me anytime.
