My name is Mary-Anne Slaven, sister too, Heather & Patrick Slaven (we were all Born in Australia), I’m a daughter too; Thomas Thompson Black Slaven (Born in Scotland, Haddington) and Granddaughter to Mary Slaven(Born in Scotland I think Glasgow).
My Dad Thomas Slaven was an only child, but my grandmother Mary Slaven had 7 brothers who all served in the war, she was the only girl.
I also remember a relative called “Collett Mccloud” who was a highland flin Scottish dancer in Scotland and won awards for her talent, she would come and stay with us in Australia for holidays.
My dad Thomas "Tom" Slaven past away in 1993, he left a huge legacy with martial arts, he created a style called "Zen Chi Ryu" we currently have 12 Karate Dojos here in Australia, Tom also broke world records for his martial arts achievements.
