Elizabeth Bird was the daughter of Andrew and Magdelene (JONES) Bird. The Andrew Bird Jones descendents can be found in Pike County & Scioto County, Ohio.
We Peters, speculate that Mary Bird, daughter of Andrew and Madelene Bird married a James Peters first in 1749, James Peters is said to have drowned in the Susquehanna River in 1750 and posthumously a John Peters was born in Perry County, PA. We presume, Mary Bird took her child back to Chester County, Pa(due to French and Indian War) and met and married Stephen Ruddell in 1752. John Peters met Rachel Pownall and married in 1779. All the Peters
mentioned as marrying Slavens were descendants of John and Rachel (POWNALL)Peters.
