Looking for information on the Slavin/Slevan families of Lake County, IL,from about 1845 to the late 1800's. PAtrick and Bridget Slavin (Spelled Slevan in the 1850 and 1860 census) immigrated ca. 1845 from Ireland to Lake County, IL, and had 13 children (the oldest possibly born in Ireland). Alice married Henry Lawrence (adopted name) ca. 1886.
