Brutal Assault Near Ferbane. -- On Monday evening a man named Flynn was seriously assaulted while returning home from Ferbane. He was attacked by a man named Slevin, who stunned him with repeated blows from a heavy weapon. The police were promptly apprised, and an information was subsequently made before John Gilbert, King, Esq., Ballylin, who issued a warrant for Slevin's arrest. The police arrested him at his residence, and conveyed to Parsonstown.
