Soldiers Shoot Detective.

Washington Court House, Ohio. April 30-- George Slavens, a Baltimore & Ohio railroad detective, was shot and killed instantly at Midland City, Clinton county, this afternoon by one of three soldiers whom he attempted to force from a freight train there. Advices here do not state whether the soldiers were captured. They are said to have been riding the train eastbound from Cincinnati.
