Omaha, Neb., May 1-- The block of stores adjoining the Union Pacific track on the north side of Tenth street, with dwelling in the rear. were destroyed by fire, with nearly the entire contents, about 3 o'clock this morning. Loss $25,000 or more, partially insured. Supposed to be incendiary. It took fire between the Bell drug store and Megarrock's grocery. Felix Slavin's family barely escaped with their lives. Very little was saved. Baumeister's marble works, burned night before last, also thought to be an incendiary fire.
