Dan Slavens made a shipment of two cars of ore this week from his recent strike on the Eclipse property, says the Winston Prospector. The hauling to the cards has been slow on account of bad roads. The mine is producing ore from a 14-inch vein at the rate of three or four tons per day, but is handicapped by in developments by a scarcity of dump room and great trouble in securing timbers. In a few short weeks Mr. Slavens has developed from a mere nothing to a paying mine, raising the value of the property several thousands of dollars and giving employment to a number of men.
