Two burning cases occurred in Ancoats yesterday. A six-year-old girl named Sarah Slevin, of South-street, was admitted to the Ancoats Hospital in the afternoon suffering from severe burns all over her body and died about two hours after admission. Ann McDermott, of Watmough-street, is lying in the same institution in a critical condition, having been badly burned about the arms and body. She is about eight years of age.
