Charged with working lame horses, three men were arraigned before Magistrate Belcher yesterday afternoon. They were Cornelius Knight, 1947 Plum street; Joseph Stone, 1637 Foulkrod street; and Francis Slavin, 4619 Lesher street. They were each sentenced to a fine of $10 and costs. Knight paid the money, but the others defaulted and were sent to the county prison for thirty days.
