John Slaven, who gave his residence at Nineteenth street and Columbia avenue, was committed on several charges of robbery and larceny. He was arrested with a set of harness in his possession, which was afterward identified as having been stolen from Mr. Hugh Jayne, Jr., of No. 4047 Aspen street.
