Wilkesbarre, Pa., April 5-- On Sunday a party of Welsh and Irish miners got into a quarrel in Blakely township, which ended in the shooting and killing of Patrick Slavin by John Edwards. Edwards and William Morgan barely escaped with their lives. They were lodged in jail here to-day.
