Mrs. Sam Slaven of 101 Howard street has reported the disappearance of her husband to the police and for the sake of her children she asked the police authorities to try to locate the missing man, who left home May 4, stating he was going to Boston on business.
Mr. Slaven, according to the wife, was conducting a second-hand clothing store in Middlesex street. After he went the woman found a letter in which he stated it would be useless for the wife to search for him for he would never he found. He stated in the letter that business troubles have led him to leave the city. Mrs. Slaven has three children, a boy 8 years old and two daughters, 6 and 3 years respectively.
