Belgian Refugee Colony Proposed for Minnesota.

Minneapolis, Oct. 18-- James Slevin of the Societe do Colonization Americaine of Paris, announced here today that arrangements are being completed for the purchase of an immense tract of land within 100 miles of Minneapolis where a colony will be established for several thousand Belgian refugees.

He said that schools, churches, business houses and home would be constructed and paid for out of a $2,500,000 fund set aside for colonization projects in the United States and that each colonist would be apportioned a strop of land for cultivation.
