Mrs. Laura S. Slaven has been declared by a jury before Justice Bailey to be the naturaI daughter of Mrs. Mary A. Siccardi, and as such entitled to the $60,000 estate left by her mother. Thirteen relatives from New York attacked the right of Mrs. Slaven to inherit, claiming that she had been taken into the household of Mrs. Siccardi when three yeers oid and had never been legally adopted.
Attorneys Charles F. Carusl and Hayden Johnson represented the daughter.
