Sad Accident.

El Dorado Republican of June 26th relates this sad affair: On Monday last a ten-year old son of Daniel Slavin of Reservoir Hill possessed himself of a revolver belonging to his father, and through carelessness or accident, or both, shot and killed his sister, Bridget Sarah Agnes Slavin, aged twelve years and two months. The revolver contained four charges and had been loaded two years. By some means three of these charges went off at once, one through the barrel, striking the girl in the head, killing her almost instantly; the otner two, of course, had to find some other outlet, and one struck the boy's hand, lacerating it considerably, but breaking no bones.
