At Greenock Police Court yesterday James Slaven, insurance agent, was remitted to the Sheriff charged with having taken part in the disturbance on 29th March last when Victor M> Ruthven was assaulted. In the afternoon Slaven was brought before Hon. Sheriff-Substitute Bruce, and after emitting a declaration was liberated on bail of £10.
