Luther Rollins, aged 34, a former resident of Cumberland, Md., was shot and killed by Charles Slavin, near Durbin, W. Va., Friday night. Rollins was working in a lumber camp and Slavin was his foreman. The men had quarreled over a singletree. Slavin sought Rollins at his home and took down Rollins' own gun, which was hanging on the wall, and shot him through the abdomen. Mrs. Rollins witnessed the tragedy. Rollins expired in a short time. Slavin was arrested.
