On Saturday evening last, Mr. Charles T. Noble, of this town, was stabbed three times with a dirk knife, while in the discharge of his duty as Constable, by a man by the name of William Slaven. The injury sustained is very serious, but we are happy to learn that he is doing well, and that his wounds are not dangerous.
