H. Call and G.H. Slavens have had the Colorado fever for some time. They were "determined to go or
burst." The night was set, the valises packed, and everything ready to depart. But the thought of
"the girl I left behind me" proved too much for them, and they backed out at the last moment. They
will not look at Denver yet awhile. Keep cool boys. We have all been in that kind of fix.
