At the Dundee Police Court-- Bailie Low on the bench-- John Slaven, hawker of Dudhop street, was found guilty of appropriating to his own use a purse and 1s 1d which he found in Dudhope (sic) street on Friday. He was fined £5 with the alternative of thirty days' imprisonment.
