Yesterday morning Mr. John Slaven, who lives in Farifax, rode to town to purchase some groceries. He hitched his horse near the Market House, directly opposite the Magistrates' Office, and, having made his purchases, came back to stow them away in his saddlebags; but some rogue had stolen these in his absence.
