A Station House Suicide Frustrated.

Barney Slavin, forty years old, of Nineteen and Wood streets, who was arrested for intoxication on Tuesday night, attempted to commit suicide by hanging himself with his suspenders to the cell grating in the Ninth district police station at about 6 o'clock yesterday morning. He was resuscitated and afterward send to the House of Corrections.
