John Slevin was indicted for the manslaughter of John Beatty, and also with stabbing. The affair occurred between three men when on their way from the Omagh market. The prisoner was alleged to have drawn a knife and stabbed these men, resulting in the death of Beatty. The jury found the prisoner guilty, and was sentenced to eighteen months' imprisonment with hard labor.
