Messrs. Duncan, Park, and Co., glass workers, were summoned with having employed William Slaven, eleven years of age, he being under age; also with having employed him during the night of the 19th, ult.; and further with having employed James Gourley, fourteen years of age, without having obtained a medical certificate. Sir W. Chayter proved the charges. The Bench fined the defendents 2s 6d and costs in each case.
