Died-- Charlotte Slavin, the beloved wife of Lawrence Slavin, a respected citizen and businessman of Brooklyn, died recently at Saratoga of heart failure, deeply regretted by all who knew her. Mr. Slavin has been a prominent fixture in the Irish National movement for the past twenty-five years, and his love for his native land was no more ardent than that of his departed wife. Her remains were taken to Brooklyn, and buried from St. Joseph's Church.
