Daniel Slavin, aged 45 years, of 63 North Seventh street, while at work on a mud digger at the foot of North Tenth street as a fireman yesterday afternoon, dropped dead. A physician was summoned in the hope that a spark of life yet remained. Death, he stated, resulted, in his opinion, from heart disease. The body was removed by an undertaker to 138 Wythe avenue. Coroner Lindsey held an inquest and a verdict was rendered in accordance with the facts.
