Death of Young Wife.
Mrs. Harry Slevins, Popular Carterville Girl, Died After Few Days' Illness - Funeral Today.

Mrs. Dollie Holcomb Slevins died yesterday at her home in Carterville after an illness of only a few days. The deceased was 19 years of age and is survived by her husband, a five-day old baby, her parents. Mr. and Mrs. R.M. Holcomb, and four brothers. Before her marriage she was for over a year, an employee of the Bell Telephone Company in Carterville, and enjoyed a large circle of friends.

The funeral was conducted this afternoon from the late residence on East Hannum street, Carterville, and interment was made in the Carterville cemetery. The pall bearers were telephone girls, two from the Bell office, two from the Home office in this city, and two from the Bell office in Carterville, all friends and companions of the deceased.
