(Special to the Herald.) Lancaster, Ky., March 27-- Mr. George Slavin died at his home near Paint Lick after a long illness due to a complication of diseases. He was about 65 years of age and a brother of the Benjamin Slavin of Boyle county, and a son of the late J.G. Slavin. He was related to the Dotery, Walker, and Denny families of upper Garrard.
