James B. Slevin, sixty years old, who had been engaged in the chandling business in New York for the past twenty-five years, died at his home in Franklin Place, Plainfield, N.J., yesterday. He was born in Cincinnati. His partner in business, Eugene A. Gross, died two weeks ago. Mr. Slevin leaves a widow and two children, a son and a daughter.
