James Slaven, aged 68, died at his residence, 314 Georgetown Street, last night at 11 o'clock, after an illness of two months. He is survived by seven children, James, Daniel, Patrick, William, and Thomas Slavin, and Misses Sallie and Margaret Slavin.
The funeral services will be announced later.
