Mrs. Lizzie Slavin Boyle died last week Monday, at her late home, Eleventh and William streets, leaving, besides her bereaved husband and two little daughters, an aged mother and two brothers to mourn her untimely demise. Burial was at Holy Sepulchre cemetery on Wednesday, November 18. Mrs. Boyle was the wife of Harry(?) Boyle, well-known in local trainmen's circles.
She was in her 41st year. For several years past she has been afflicted with an ailment, from the effects of which she died. Although a sufferer almost constantly, she bore her affliction with Christian fortitude.
Mrs. Boyle was the only daughter of Mrs. Mary Slavin of Waterloo, one of the pioneer settlers of Douglas county.
