MRS. MARGARET SLAVIN.

Mrs. Margaret Lyddy Slavin, wife of John Slavin, died suddenly yesterday afternoon at her home, 27 Dayton street. While not in her usual good health, she was able to be out, and had been downtown shopping during the afternoon. She was stricken shortly after returning home and died before medical aid arrived.

For the past 35 years she was an attendant of the Sacred Heart church and was well known throughout the parish. Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John J. Dorsey of Bradford; three sons, Sergt. Joseph P. Slavin in Alaska; Frederick M., and John F. Slavin of Lowell; three sisters, Mrs. J. J. Beyerholm of Lompoc, Calif., Mrs. Nora Litchfield of Detroit, Mich., and Miss Anna Lyddy of Boston; two brothers, Austin Lyddy of this city and Patrick Lyddy of Boston, and five grandchildren. She was a member of the Holy Rosary sodality of the Sacred Heart church.
