The remains Of Mrs. Margaret Slavin were brought to this City from Chicago, Monday forenoon, for interment in Calvary cemetery.
Mrs. Slavin died at her home at 911 Fulton street on Friday, July 26, aged 89 years. She was one of the early settlers of this locality, but left here over thirty years ago for Chicago, which has since been her home. She was the mother of Jas. H. Slavin, who practiced law here thirty years ago, and died about the year 1872.
