Slavin Parish Church, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland.

Andy Slaven shared some photos that he took in 2019 at the Slavin Parish church, near Baleek in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland.

Says Andy, "The church was built between 1688 and 1710. The Slavin church is one of the oldest post reformation churches in west Fermanagh still in use. Many churches were built on hill tops so that they could be seen from a wide area. The beauty of the site chosen for this church in a Fermanagh glen, cannot be surpassed, and it could be aptly described as 'The Heavenly Glen.' (This description of the church was copied from the below book.)

"The main focus of the book is Katherine C. Elliot who was very much involved with the Slavin Parish church."

Thanks to Andy for sharing his photos and information on the Slavin Parish church!
