John Slavin, 20 years old, of 23 Donn street, was taken before Justice Tighe this morning charged by Mary Slavin, who lives at 110 Smith street, with abandonment. He said he had never really been married as he consented to the ceremony only at the command of Father Ward of St. Charles Borrence church. Slavin was held for examination.
